Down In The Jungle is an old playgroup and preschool favourite which is usually about animals washing their clothes in the jungle. But here I've tweaked it slightly to make it into a fun bath time song.
Down in the jungle where nobody goes,
Walking through the Jungle is a song story which has been adapted by various authors and illustrators. Kids can imagine they are exploring the jungle while the suspense builds – What will you see? Can you hear a noise?! This is a great book to learn about animals and actions. It has a very catchy refrain running through it so it's a great. Let's take a walk in the forest! Sing along with this sequel to the popular Super Simple Song, 'Walking In The Jungle'. This version teaches forest animals and action vocabulary for kids. Jungle Adventures 3 - If you liked Jungle Adventures & Jungle Adventures 2, you will definitely love the newest addition in the series. The story of an enraptured forest - In search of some food in the middle of the night, our hero Addu witnesses a tragic sight. The cute Furry people of the forest were being kidnapped by a gang of goons. Join Addu and his friends on an amazing adventure. Little rituals of favourite games and bath time songs can make it a useful time to learn things too. Down In the Jungle is a great way to explore the different animals of the jungle and also naming parts of the body and personal hygiene. But this one has such a catchy tune, that everyone ends up singing it for days!
There's a big fat elephant washing his toes,
With a rub-a-dub here, and a rub-a-dub there,
That's the way he washes his toes!
*
(chorus)
Boom, boom, boogie-woogie boogie-woogie,
Boom, boom, boogie-woogie boogie-woogie,
Rub-a-dub here, and a rub-a-dub there,
That's the way he washes his toes!
*
Down in the jungle where there's nobody there,
There's a great big lion washing his hair,
With a rub-a-dub here, and a rub-a-dub there,
That's the way he washes his hair!
*
(repeat chorus)
Down in the jungle, if you look in the trees,
There's a cheeky monkey washing his knees,
With a rub-a-dub here, and a rub-a-dub there,
That's the way he washes his knees!
*
(repeat chorus)
Walking In Jungle
Down in the jungle if you care to check,
There's a very tall giraffe washing his neck,
With a rub-a-dub here, and a rub-a-dub there,
That's the way he washes his neck!
*
Down at the river, if you look underneath,
There's a great big crocodile brushing his teeth,
With a rub-a-dub here, and a rub-a-dub there,
That's the way he brushes his teeth! Ipisb-vr 1.01.

Bath time is an important part of any child's daily routine, and it should be fun and relaxing as they wind down before bed. Little rituals of favourite games and bath time songs can make it a useful time to learn things too.

Walking In The Jungle Song
My kids are all grown up these days, but we have such fond memories of bath time! And I just saw the best idea for helping to make babies bath time easier! – This colourful Blooming Baby Bath – It's a soft, sponge flower that lines the baby bath, cushioning the baby and preventing slipping – so simple, but such a good idea! I just wish they were around when my kids were small.

Let's take a walk in the jungle.
Walking in the jungle. Walking in the jungle.
We're not afraid. We're not afraid.
Walking in the jungle. Walking in the jungle. We're not afraid. We're not afraid.
One step. Two steps. Three steps forward.
One step. Two steps. Three steps back.
Stop.
Listen.
What's that?
It's a frog!
We're not afraid!
Let's stomp.
Stomping in the jungle. Stomping in the jungle. We're not afraid. We're not afraid.
Stomping in the jungle. Stomping in the jungle. We're not afraid. We're not afraid.
One step. Two steps. Three steps forward.
One step. Two steps. Three steps back.
Stop. Listen. What's that?
It's a monkey!
We're not afraid!
Let's jump.
Jumping in the jungle. Jumping in the jungle. We're not afraid. We're not afraid.
Jumping in the jungle. Jumping in the jungle. We're not afraid. We're not afraid.
One step. Two steps. Three steps forward.
One step. Two steps. Three steps back.
Stop. Listen. What's that?
It's a toucan!
We're not afraid!
There's a great big crocodile brushing his teeth,
